Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or making a booking through Trips Booking. By accessing our website at www.tripsbooking.co.uk or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or making a booking through Trips Booking, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
  • You are booking on your own behalf or on behalf of others with their full knowledge and consent
  • All information you provide is accurate, truthful, and complete
  • You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms imposed by travel suppliers

If you are booking on behalf of a group or other individuals, you accept responsibility for ensuring that all members of the party are aware of and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

3. Our Role as a Travel Agency

Trips Booking acts as an intermediary agent between you (the customer) and travel suppliers such as airlines, hotels, car hire companies, and tour operators. When you make a booking through us:

  • The contract for the travel service is between you and the relevant supplier
  • Each supplier’s own terms and conditions apply to your booking
  • Trips Booking is not the principal provider of the travel services booked
  • We will act on your behalf to secure your booking and provide ongoing support throughout your travel experience

We take care in selecting reputable suppliers and always aim to act in your best interests, but we are not responsible for the actions, omissions, or failings of third-party suppliers.

4. Bookings & Reservations

Making a Booking
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you have received a written booking confirmation from Trips Booking, along with the relevant booking reference number.

Booking Accuracy
It is your responsibility to check all booking details carefully upon receiving your confirmation, including passenger names, travel dates, destination, and any other relevant details. Names on tickets must match exactly the names on the relevant travel documents. Any errors must be reported to us immediately at info@tripsbooking.co.uk. Amendments made after confirmation may be subject to fees from both the supplier and Trips Booking.

Lead Passenger
The person who makes the booking is considered the lead passenger and takes responsibility for ensuring that all members of the travelling party meet the necessary travel, visa, and documentation requirements.

Special Requests
Any special requests such as dietary requirements, accessibility needs, seating preferences, or room types must be communicated to us at the time of booking. While we will do our best to pass these requests on to the relevant supplier, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. Special requests do not form part of the contractual agreement.

5. Pricing

Price Accuracy
All prices displayed on our website or quoted to you are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated, and are subject to change without notice. Prices are accurate at the time of display but may vary due to availability, demand, supplier pricing changes, or currency fluctuations.

Price Confirmation
The price of your booking will be confirmed at the time of reservation. Once a booking is confirmed and full payment has been received, the price of your booking is guaranteed, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Price Changes After Confirmation
In rare cases, a confirmed booking may be subject to a price increase due to changes in government taxes, airport charges, fuel surcharges, or currency exchange rates beyond our control. We will notify you of any such increase as soon as possible. If a price increase exceeds 8% of the total booking value, you will have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.

Taxes & Charges
Prices quoted may or may not include government taxes, airport departure taxes, airline surcharges, or other applicable fees. Any charges not included in the quoted price will be clearly communicated to you before you confirm your booking.

6. Payment Terms

Payment Methods
We accept payment by major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely through our authorised payment provider.

Deposit
Some bookings may require a deposit to be paid at the time of confirmation, with the remaining balance due at a later date. The deposit amount and balance payment deadline will be specified at the time of booking.

Full Payment
For certain bookings, full payment may be required at the time of confirmation. This will be made clear before you proceed with your reservation.

Balance Due Date
Where a deposit has been paid, the balance must be received by the due date specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled and the loss of your deposit.

Failed Payments
If a payment is declined or fails for any reason, your booking may not be confirmed. It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available and that your payment details are correct.

7. Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellations by the Customer
If you wish to cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible by emailing info@tripsbooking.co.uk. Cancellation charges will apply in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant travel supplier. These charges may range from loss of deposit to 100% of the total booking cost depending on how close to the departure date the cancellation is made.

Amendments by the Customer
If you wish to make changes to an existing booking, such as a change of travel date, destination, or passenger details, please contact us as soon as possible. Amendment fees may be charged by the supplier and by Trips Booking. We will always advise you of the applicable charges before making any changes.

Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain bookings, including but not limited to promotional fares, non-refundable hotel rates, and budget airline tickets, are non-refundable once confirmed. This will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking.

Cancellations by the Supplier
In the event that a travel supplier cancels a booking, we will notify you as soon as we become aware and will present you with the available options, which may include a full refund, rebooking, or alternative arrangements. Trips Booking is not responsible for cancellations made by third-party suppliers but will act on your behalf to resolve the situation.

8. Travel Documents & Visa Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of each traveller to ensure they hold valid travel documents, including:

  • A valid passport with sufficient validity for the intended destination
  • Any required visas, entry permits, or electronic travel authorisations
  • Any required vaccination certificates or health documentation
  • Any other entry requirements imposed by the destination country

Trips Booking provides general information about travel requirements as a guide only. This information is subject to change and may not always reflect the most current requirements. We strongly recommend verifying all entry requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government source before travelling.

Trips Booking accepts no liability for any costs, losses, or disruptions arising from a traveller’s failure to hold the correct documentation.

9. Travel Insurance

Trips Booking strongly recommends that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. Travel insurance should cover, at minimum:

  • Trip cancellation and curtailment
  • Medical expenses and emergency repatriation
  • Personal liability
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings and luggage
  • Travel delay and missed departure
  • Any activity-specific risks relevant to your trip

Trips Booking is not liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience that would have been covered by an adequate travel insurance policy. Failure to obtain travel insurance is entirely at your own risk.

10. Health & Safety

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your travelling party are in good health and physically fit to travel. We recommend consulting a qualified medical professional before travelling, particularly for long-haul, adventure, or high-altitude trips.

You should check the latest health and travel advice for your destination from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) at www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice and the NHS Travel Health website at www.travelhealthpro.org.uk before booking and before departing.

Trips Booking accepts no liability for any health-related issues arising during or as a result of travel.

11. Force Majeure

Trips Booking shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations, or for any cancellation, delay, or disruption to your travel arrangements, resulting from events beyond our reasonable control. Such events include but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather, or acts of God
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or political instability
  • Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergencies
  • Government action, border closures, or travel restrictions
  • Industrial disputes or strikes
  • Technical failures or power outages

In such circumstances, we will do everything reasonably possible to assist you and minimise any disruption to your travel plans.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trips Booking’s liability to you in connection with any booking or service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for that specific booking.

Trips Booking shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury caused by a third-party travel supplier
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses
  • Loss of enjoyment, loss of earnings, or any other financial loss not directly related to the booking
  • Any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Complaints

If you experience a problem during your trip, we ask that you report it to the relevant supplier (airline, hotel, or tour operator) at the time it occurs so that they have the opportunity to resolve it.

If your complaint remains unresolved, please notify us in writing within 28 days of your return by emailing info@tripsbooking.co.uk with full details of the issue, your booking reference, and any supporting documentation.

We take all complaints seriously and will do our best to investigate and respond to you within a reasonable timeframe. We are committed to reaching a fair and satisfactory resolution for all parties.
